My name is Damon Smith. I am the Faculty Advisor to Columbia’s Urban Music Association (C.U.M.A.). I need your help man.
This kids need some Jazz in their lives. So as part of our programming this year, C.U.M.A. is going to produce its first ever Jazz Show. The date we have is Friday, October 5th, 2007.
I wanted to book Art Ensemble Chicago, BUT I HAVE NO WAY OF REACHING CONTACTING THEM. I purchased a CD online in June and still have not received it. That is beside the point.
If I remember correctly, you are a member of Art Ensemble Chicago. Tell me who I need to contact to book them. And while you are at it, just in case C.U.M.A. cannot afford the full group, send me your performance fee and rider.
I have one current student opening with a trio, Jocelyn Winston and her trio and then the headlining act. Originally, C.U.M.A. was going to have the show at the Hot House, but now we have to have the show on campus.
